    Default B&W Tag CnC and rating

    Okay, so this is my first B&W tag i think, i used one fractal, one C4d(that i made ) and one render, tell me what you think

    Alright, i dont think that it is overblurred, i had to burn part of it, and it looks blurred because of it. Thanks though

    it looks like you made it like a normal tag and just desaturated it :/

    also yeah.. it's out of focus in the wrong areas

    I'm all for the washed out looking tag, but I think a bit more depth could be added here. I noticed you said you were burning. I think you should burn some of the darker shadows more.

    By darker shadows, do you mean the shadows on the focal, or on the c4ds/effects?

    Both, but mostly on the c4ds and effects.

    Whenever i do that though, they just seem to get blurry, not darker. . .any tips for a noob?

    Do you have it set to midtones or shadows? Switch to shadows for the darker colors if you haven't already. I think that might fix your problem.

    Worst case scenario you could always just apply the image and sharpen it after your done if it comes out too blurry.
