    I think it looks sweet, maybe needed a little more "something" in the empty black areas.

    I think its awesome, as you said, its a style :P

    Nice work on the original render as well, you turned it from frown to er..um..well to sweet, I can't think of a happy word ryming for frown. lol.

    Here's an update http://2.eagleimg.com/3/up/01627.jpg it takes up a bit more space & I cut out a few annoying bits though there's still that bit of empty space on the bottom left corner...

    Teh black and white gradients on brushes dont seem to work, you need to rethink your tech.

    it's nice....... just needs some cool looking effects. I would have like multicolored the crystal.
