Eh, I didn't like how the 1st was turning out, so I just smudged the bg and I think it came out pretty good . Cnc please?

Actually, I am a fan of the first one. However, you should consider removing the text or choose a better placement with a fitting color. (Also, get rid of the border around the text)

As for the second one, the composition is brilliant. However, you should add a bit of contrast to add emphasis upon the focal point.
