Part of your effect is on her cheek, now there is a big brown spot on her, need to fix that. Other then that it looks ok, might want to lower the opacity on the BG effect.

That smudge on the left almost looks like a forest to me with the sun shining through the sides of the trees.

I think really the only problem is that it is overcontrasted and the dark look doesn't suit it so well.

I aren't good with smudge too, i just smudged a stock, topaz'ed the shit out of it, and do gradients, en some bubbles. xD
Also textures, but i dont like them.
