    okay
    1. it's in the wrong section?
    2. it's not "realism" because you didnt draw it.
    3. it's really just a stock with some adjustments and a little c4d on the iPod, try and make your pieces more exciting

I really don't see anything other than a very very low opacity fractal over her hand and what looks like an orange to purple gmap. Imo realism is taking a stock of a real life shot and adding your own art around it to bring out the focal like justincredible did. Try adding more of your own art to the piece.

And Scrib was saying this should be in Digital Art not Signature Showcase.

Well I like how since this is your first LP you kept it simple and didn't try to go all out. It's always good to never go in over your head because when you do something and it's wrong or badly done going back to square one can be a pain.

However in this picture I can see that you added a background texture, a gradient map or two set on a light opacity and a fractal bubble or two around the hand area. It doesn't look bad but it does look a bit saturated, remember that if you want to give manipulations a realistic feel to them it's always best to either mess with the atmosphere of the picture or the overall color but never make the colors look freaky because everyone will automatically think that it is photoshopped.

The trick to making realistic effects on a piece is to keep it simple and very HQ (High Quality), you got the simple part down but the saturation kind of makes one wonder what she would look like with regular colors instead of looking yellowish.

    Good luck next time bud

Looks simple like everyone says, but there's nothing wrong with being simple.
