I love the pictures of the dog, they are really nice. It's such a pain to take pictures of my dog because he is super hyper and everytime I try to take a picture he starts chasing his tail or something. The only good pictures I have of him is when he is sleeping

Haha.. aslong as my dad isnt around, this dog just sleeps and sits.. really easy to photograph..

Its a bit hard to comment on the pictures because of how small they are, but what I can say are there seems to be a few framing issues. The best one is the last one of the bee, but the rest could all do with being framed slightly better. Look at how your image composition looks. With macro flower shots try to get the flower head centred and with no detail in front of it like stems or branches. I always like to slightly desaturate the background of those kinds of image to bring more focus to the flower itself and take attention away from other colours and details. From an amateur perspective they're fine shots and you've got the right idea, just work a bit on your framing and composition

Thanks a lot rexy - It's funny the dogs name is rex.
It was all hand held shots so it was hard for me to keep steady and get the composition right. Plus the subjects were moving everywhere..
I understand I need to remember the rule of thirds more and things like that.
I just picked up the camera and started shooting. Had nothing in mind

Nothing wrong with that mate... the simple answer is take more time and take a lot more shots. Depending on your camera you should have some kind of drive mode. If you've got the option, put it on continuous shooting and just go nuts. Whenever I do shoots I always end up filling my sd card with tonnes of photos, most only have slight differences but the simple fact is the more you've got, the more chance you've got of getting the perfect shot
