    Angry Illustrator and Photoshop (2)

Whenever i try to draw some goo in Illustrator i cant fill it with the paint bucket cause adobe decided to make it impossible to use the paint bucket NORMAL.
So i export it to a psd and use the paint bucket tool in photoshop, however when i want to open it in Illustrator again the canvas shrinked on a fucking magical way... it used to be 500x300 but when i open it in illustrator they decided it would be funny when its actually 200x85..
even when i make a white background in photoshop and add it to the file.
    this really pisses me off...

Typical illustrator narb. To fill it in illy, use the square at the bottom of the screen. The hollow square to stroke, There isnt a paintbucket fill in illy like there is in ps. The paint bucket is for live paint.

Complete the path. Draw the rest of it up and around. You've got an incomplete path.

Get the pentool, click on the points and finish the path. Then hit the selection tool and change the fill to your color thing.

Photoshop has simple foreground, background colour pallets to use, but Illustrator uses stroke and fill colour pallets. If you want your shape to have a black fill, and say green outline, before, or after you draw the shape, make the full square black, and the outline square green.

All you have to do is click on the square, then your colour pallet will pop up, and select the colour that you want to use. Another way, is if you press X, it will move the current one select to the back, and the other to the front. I tend to use this way as it is faster, and I have all my colours as swatches. So, I just press X to set it to the front, click a swatch and it changes the colour.

A side not, after you make your shape, make sure to select the shape before changing colour, or it will not change the shape colour, and only the colours for your next shape.
