ok since no one wants to start i'll go ahead

my top 5 favorite this year is
    5. Fast Five, I was really impressed with this movie. I went to the theaters with a small expectation but wow, i was blown away! It exceeded my expectation and it exceeded its prequels as well! This is, i think, the best Fast and Furios movie since the first!

    4. Captain America, To be honest, I did not think this would be on my top 5 favorite because of the director who also directed Wolf Man but man was i wrong. This is one of the best comic book movies of all time. The origin of Captain America have never been more thorough on how he became a symbol of peace in america!

    3. Thor. Another comic book movie made for the Avengers next year ( along with cap, iron man and hulk) This is a really unique movie with great dialogues and acting. Its really rare that a movie including Gods make us feel what they feel! The movie has good action too! When Thor throws down it is absolutely badass. Its a comic book movie that has good action, drama and comedy.

    2. X-Men first class. In my opinion, this is better than all the other X-men movies. I always loved good origin stories and this is like one of the best origin movies i've seen this year. I love the relationship between Charles aka Prof. X(McAvoy) and Eric aka Magneto (Fassbender) and they both really stole the show! The acting is great as well as the dialogues. Some mutants that we've never seen before are included and man are they badass! Theres this one mutant named Azazel, the red skinned demon who can teleport was really badass! he's like scorpion from mortal kombat when he is being controlled by a japanese guy. he teleports here and there beating guys up, teleporting in mid air and dropping guys from the sky. I really had no problem with X-men first class, its really loyal to its roots and they really pulled it off!

    1. Speaking of good origin stories.... The Rise of the Planet of the Apes!
I have never seen any other Ape movies but I can tell that the chimps had never been this awesome! The CGI is top notch and the acting as well! The best character in this movie is Caesar, yes the CGI ape is the best character. Before I saw this i always thought that James France was gonna be a the main character but I was wrong, though he was also really good in this movie. This movie is a character driven piece and the character that really drives it is Caesar. And the other thing I was worried about was if Caesar was gonna be really smart or will they just tell you that Caesar is smart but when I saw the movie you could really tell that Caesar was not like the other apes! He acts like he's a human being... well sort of. The first part of this movie was really, really interesting and then when the movie picks up, it became a rebellion and a freedom fighter movie which is really badass! Apes is one of the best movies I have ever seen and Caesar is one of the best CGI characters of all time next to Gollum and Dobbie. John Lithgow is in the movie too and he is really good. Some people are wondering how the apes are gonna take over the world in this movie but it really isn't how it worked out. This is just the beginning of the revolution on how the earth became their planet and how it happened is a secret, of course you have to see the movie and Im telling you that you will buy it. I bought it, my friends did too. I've seen this a couple times now and my money was well spent. I would go for 3rd if i could but I'm just gonna wait and buy it on blu-ray.

THats all folks! what about you?

Rise of the Planet of the Apes was a damn good movie. Especially considering the only big name in it was James Franco.
    My favorite work of mine:

    1) Rise of the Planet of the Apes! - I effing loved this movie so much! The CGI was amazing, but what a great start to the reboot of an already awesome movie franchise. I'm so excited for the next one!!!

    2) Super 8 - I have to admit that I expected more from this movie, but nevertheless it was still great. Although it was directed by JJ Abrahms, you can still sense Spielberg in there! However, the over-used lense flares really annoyed me -_- They fit perfectly in Star Trek, but he didn't even get the lighting right in this one.

    3) Cowboys & Aliens - This movie completely took me by surprise. Ever since his first hit in Casino Royale I never took a liking to Daniel Craig, but his performance in this movie was great (most likely because of the lack of dialogue) From the first teaser trailer, this movie looked rubbish to me because the plot just seemed pointless, but when I eventually saw the movie it made perfect sense and also added a certain twist that you don't see in many sci-fi movies these days.

    4) Horrible Bosses - This is the funniest movie I've seen a quite some time. The cast fit their roles perfectly, as did their comedic material. Never seen a story-line like this before which is obviously a good thing too.

    5) Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - I've always been a huge HP fan ever since the beginning, so the reason I put this one last is because I had already read the book... I was very dissapointed in how much detail was put into these films. The reason is because the last HP book was one of the best books I've ever read (I strongly recommend reading it if you haven't already). But even though it could have been better, I don't think anyone else could have captured the finale more effectively than David Yates.

    More that I liked...
Kung Fu Panda 2 (Not as good as the first one)
    Hannah (AWESOME)
    X-Men First Class
Transformers - The Dark of the Moon

Those are the only 2011 ones I've seen. They were ok, nothing spectacular.
