The main problem here is your colors. Let's forget about everything else and talk about the colors.

A monotone color scheme has it's up and downs at times, but here it isn't working. The fact that this whole tag consists of one shade is really a factor that is bringing down the appeal.

I'd avoid doing this.
Also the lighting is very dull in this piece mainly due to the monochromatic color scheme. The light orbs you have there are very dulled out. If you have a chance you can look at my GOW tutorial which I made that can help you with C4D and lighting orbs.
