    I feel like I would find this more impressive, and better to look at if, instead of masking off the type, and having it cut off, you sized out the words to actually show the image, rather than letting the masking do all the work for you. I also feel like the colors could use a bit of tweaking, in particular, the light grey isn't sitting right with me, it makes some parts look too flat. The other big thing I'd look into as well, is to play with the aliasing of your type. I could be wrong, but it looks like your left your aliasing on either smooth or strong for the whole thing, and it looks really weird on the areas with smaller type, because they're rather blurry. A crisp, or sharp font would work better in detailed areas like the face.

    Regardless, it's still decent, scores points for going off the beaten path of taggery, and you definitely did a good job on the actual shape of the character.
