    Exclamation [IMPORTANT] Blacking Out GFXVoid?

So maybe you know this but there are SOPA protests planned by Google, Wikipedia and others on Jan. 18
In a few hours, wikipedia will black out to protest sopa and also google and other major sites.
I will black out my site too to inform people of SOPA and will Void protest this too?
May i remind you that this site is a Digital Art site and will most likely go down if SOPA passes. I noticed void gets a lot of hits and guests, so I suggest you do this xD

    STOP SOPA!

Even if we wanted to 'blackout' the void, we couldn't. Only John has the ability to shut the site down.

I fully support the protests and am against SOPA and PIPA, but there just isnt much of a point doing it on the void.

Contact your local congressman/women to voice your opinion instead, lol.

Oh shit! I am against SOPA now :P. But seriously, this "bill" really does no good for anyone and I have been against it from the day I found out about it a few weeks ago. Honestly, I think if any person that uses the internet is for it they should have to live with Apa for the rest of their life. Their, to me, is no reason why anyone should even support this. And, you know it is bad when other country's do not want this bill to pass because it fucks the whole world

I'm in the same boat as you Fur. It's a terrible legislation and so many people/sites are against it. To be honest the Bill will do completely bugger all to the stop of Piracy and intellectual property theft. The closest comparison I have is with the American Prohibition on Alcohol. Alcohol was banned but people still bought and consumed it even though it was completely against the law.

I did find out something interesting with SOPA and E3. Stand Together: The Gaming Community vs SOPA and PIPA

Unfortunately I would share a link from TotalBiscuit about SOPA and PIPA so that people can see how bad it actually is but he's blacked out his YT channel for 24 hours. He gives a few examples of how some websites were DNS blocked and videos were taken off YouTube when there was no problem whatsoever.
