ya that render is huge and it isnt blended at all. The grunge bg is cool. But doesnt match the render.

It's so... tall.... >< And like everyone said, the bg doesnt match the render. Either make a beige-green-brown-white bg, or get a red-black render. Agggh... red black render... that would be so scary... ><

first thank you to underdone for bringing up something ive been thinking for a while...
not everything NEEDS to be blended... contrast can be fun lol.

and on to the sig, 2 things.
    1. way too big for my tastes.
    2. background doesnt match the render, not blended but colour continuity.

aye, blending sometimes isn't necessary and indeed sometimes it's actually a bad move. But yeah that bg just clashes too much, it takes away the flow.

I fail to understand the need for bigger sigs, when it evokes no meaning at all.

Size it down a bit man, the sigs almost as tall as my hand length-wise at 1024 x 768 res. Yes, I did take the time to do that, don't pity me :-P

The render is nicely cropped, whilst the background is... ehh, to say the least, a hot, steamy pile of ____. It's a bit on the pixelish side, try smoothing it out. Looks as if you scribbled it up with the pencil tool after gobbing down a pound of laxatives.

And I always stand beside the idea of originality in sigs, don't limit yourself to such stereotypical ideology of a 'good' sig. Me and PlatinumKittyKat had a decent discussion about this the other day, and how a decent amount of people judge others' sigs by the book of "What-All-Good-Sigs-Need", mass produced and brainwashed by the millions who glance upon it (aka trendwhores to the extreme).

    Everything is so f*cking derivative!

    kinda got off-topic, sry.

The color change looks a lot better, but still try to blend the image into the sig a little more.

Also, what the hell is that character?
