BuyUSA sells OEM software without the hardware. That is why only the CD is provided and not a box, hard manual, tech support, etc. Although the software itself is legal, the means by which you get it is not. It is illegal for OEM software to be sold without it's accompanying hardware (Usually a computer, pen tablet, high-end monitor/projector, etc.). Macromedia is actively investigating BuyUSA.

So... You'd probably get the software you pay for, but it would still be illegal. The choice is yours.

Nope. You can get an educational discount if you're a student, but I think it's limited to teachers and college students only.

I wrote a topic about getting CS2 alittle cheaper (about $250 cheaper). But it requires that you have a legal version of Photoshop to begin with. Although I reffer to 7, it does seem that ANY version of photoshop will work for the upgrade. Enjoy.
