Your lighting on the first planet is on the wrong side for it to cast a shadow on the one below... You need to make your stars brighter, they're quite dull & boring... I think you colour range is too varied, try staying in the blue's or red's... You planet textures are pixelated, I suggest making super huge planets then scaling them down to keep small details...

    nice attempt though

I think if the lights is comes from the top, there should have a glow on the edge of the planet.

Whoa... that looks really good IMO. Looks like something that can be used as a Sci-fi influenced logo. Heh, I like it.

What are you talking about that the lightings wrong, lighing can be on any side varing on the light source, the colors are the same as the planet also..
The texture part i dont care about, its how the texture was and how it will be.

Well look at the shadows, there's two one to the bottom left & one to the bottom right covering the second planet... Judging by the shading of you planet the light source is comming from the upper right corner thus all shadows should head towards the bottom left corner... Your shadow is at the bottom right corner. Where's its light source?

The planet with the texture is blocking out the light of the other, hence the name Eclipse

I see your point now that im lookin at it but im not gonna fix it.
