Trying to get into using stock images. Not as good as i would like it to have been, but i think i'll get there

Tell me what you think i could improve on, also does anyone have or know of any good tutorials with stock images?

The black and white version just looses the impact the colors have. Feels somewhat flat and not a lot of depth.
