Well it's pretty wild You used your render well and looks like you had fun with the liquid tool... would be nice to see that style come back again 1!!

My only suggestion here would be to take some of the layers off of line dodge and maybe soften it up a little around the edges with some burning and or blacking just to give it more depth ^^

    Welcome to the Void btw

Thanks for the advice, although it's not on linear dodge, it's over sharpened and then lowered opacity. I will be sure to mess around with it a bit, and will use the burn tool as well.

    Thanks again.

Fix the contrast and try to add some depth. Also with the depth try to focus on the light form his chest, it could give off a strong feel.

Blur up the smudges a little bit, that would look a lot better and maybe burn it up !

Tried to take into account what everybody said, did some burning around the edges, added a colour dodge soft brush over his chest, blurred the liquified background to give depth, then added in a white to black gradient layer on soft light for some added lighting.

That looks much more epic, the only thing I would add though is to make the render stand out just a little more, try changing the colours slightly to make it differ from the background a little bit.

Thanks, and although I can tell what you mean, that was my aim, to make the render flow and blend completely with the background, so I'll give that tip a miss this time, thanks though!

No problem bud, it certainly looks very snazzy.
I'm very fond of the tag - well done!
