Did you have resized the image at all? If so, it now looks in an odd proportion and kinda stretched.
But more into the actual sig details, your name should be incorporated more into the image. Outlining and placing it in the corner is two of the biggest no-nos as it can make even the most amazing signatures look cheap.
The direction of your effects is on the right angle. It flows well into the character but it lacks depth and feels layered on top of the image.
How I would approach this is by narrowing the height and use some clipping masks to help add to the tag. Add some colour, doesn't have to be much, but a simple soft light of say a purple in the corner can change the image so much. What you want to do is create a focal point and draw people to that point because at the moment the paint effects and the girl's head are drawing your attention to two places and thus reducing the overall impact of the sig.
