Killzone
First signature in give or take 4 months.
CnC please. (Try not to be too brutal. Lol.)

It looks okay after a 4 month break.
But I think you might wanna try out some tuts in the tutorial area here on the void.
There are some basic things that could be improved.
First of all, the blending of your render.
I think you need to try to add some forgeground effects so the background and the render aren't so seperated from each other.
It's like I'm looking at a background with a render pasted on it.
You could try smudging the sided of the render or just add some of the effects from the background at the forgeground of the tag.
I think you also need to work on the lightning.
Take a look at your render and decide where the lightning is comming from.
Then create a lightningsource and work with the burn and dodge tool to create some nice shadow and lightning work.
The 2nd "focal", the copied render on the right of your real focal point, has to go imo.
It's a bit distracting and doesn't really add something special to the tag.
I also think the text has to go. It looks a bit too basic imo.
Sorry if I was a bit harsh but I really think some tuts can help a lot.
Keep working on it!

Yeah, I've been looking at smudging and blending tutorials and I came out with:
I think it's better, but I need to work on text and lighting.

Yeah! Def a lot better!
Good job on this one! The blending really works here and creates a lot more dpeht
As you said text need some work..... I would say that if the text isn't working in a sig, just remove it.
I'm not a really good text-creator so pretty much of my sigs don't have any text in them.
It's not a "must have", just an extra if you are good at it.
There are some text tutorials also tho, so if you wanna try to get good at it, you can follow those!
Keep up the good work!

The easiest way I find to make text work is to throw it in a clipping mask, and find something that looks right and stands out, while going with the flow of the sig instead of interupting it.
Also don't be afraid to mess around with the brushes for smudging, try getting it to go into a specific direction to create flow within the signature.
Another thing I've learn't from others is to not go with a full border, this causes the space of the sig to enclose and makes it seem like the image just ends, whereas if their were cinema borders (top and bottom) it allows the eye to think that it goes outside of what is shown .
Keep trying and it's good to see your dedicated to becoming better

Thanks for the feedback, guys. C:
