So budget is a little tight this year for x mas seeing how I have been in school for over half a year and not working. I decided to get creative in gifts this year and give art out instead.
I'll update later on this week with other finished origami pieces as I go along. Currently I have one done and 2 others on the go. Takes me between 15 hrs to 30 hours, due to trial and error >.<
This piece took 120 pieces to make and I just used some wrapping paper, glue, some extra beads I had laying around and some string. Took about 17 hours labour and maybe total 2$ if that. The love is in the labour not the cost ofc :P
And another one just finished. This one took several days because I kept gluing the pieces togehter wrong, but the 3rd try worked great and from start to finish (3rd try) only took 6 hrs or so
LOL Agi, though they are paper they do tend to get heavy :P I'd totally mail if it wasn't for prices to mail shit >.<
It's true, one way or "style" doesn't involve glue or more then one paper. This is a branch off the actual term is called Kirigami, but if I had used that term I'm sure no one would have known what that was ^^ So I used the umbrella word for the paper art that I am doing
