Thor Tag - SOTW 344 Submission CnC

So I actually thought I had a shot this week with this tag, but obviously my third place finish tells me the audience begged to disagree. What do you all think about it? I'm looking for some good critique here so I can improve upon these.

The render does most of the work. Not much going on with the backgound...pretty basic. Not awul text but still looks like you just placed it in there. What kills it though and would increase it visually the most would be lighting. I think with strong lighting and some depth it would be A LOT better.

Still not a bad tag and looks good. Just the little things really.

As I mentioned on the SotW thread, good blending but there's really not much else going for it. If you're choosing a background that basic make sure you don't make the colors as monotone, because overall it just looks plain.
