So back in the day I used to hang around gfx sites making sigs for myself and other people on request. I kind of got tired of it after a while, sigs lost their fun and any personal connection or meaning, so I went on to do larger paintings. Then after getting a job in the design field I slowed way down on my personal works. Lately I've been doing more of my own stuff and it feels good. And I also found sigs were a really fun way to belt out some work without spending days or weeks on something. I've also developed enough of my own ability where I don't like using stocks anymore, just all my own designs, characters and all. It's fun, almost therapeutic to have a little meaning or story behind them too...
Have you ever had an experience so transcending that you wanted to remember it forever? Some people take pictures, some people send postcards, some people write. But what about journeys of the mind? What about something more ethereal and not easily grasped or communicated? Are these things meant to be brought back, or does that cause madness? Some can go along for the ride, others reject what's being shown to them and spiral into fear. Some grasp at the closest thing to them because they're afraid they'll never be able to share the things they experienced.
This one is deeply personal to me.
No stocks, original character. All work is mine.
