    Default Photo effect

So... I'm still busy with photography and the editing of my photo's.
Lately I've discovered some cool stuff in photoshop (really not that new to me but still cool) wich creates a nice look/feel to a photo.
A bit surrealistic look by just working with some smudge, burn and dodge tools.

I took a photo of my brother with his backpack:

I thought it looked pretty cool.... did some more photo-editing of photo's from my brother. But I'm not sure he'll like it if I posted his face online so...
His neck looks a bit blurry but oh well...

    Thoughts?

Nice photo edit, cs4pro. It's definitely a game changer. Was this from a tutorial you got off from the web? You even managed to make the button on the book bag stand out further.

Shame you don't receive the c&c you deserve

Haha no problem It wasn't from a tutorial.... I was just playing around with my tool in photoshop and got this result. The effect seems very familiar to me tho.
Always wondered how people managed to create this kind of look but never really searched for it on the web
    Thanks!

I agree the end results look great.

Lighting seems pumped up and edges more crisp without looking fake.
