    no im tryin to turn a zip file into a lwtp file. heres the tut on limewire.com i was talkin about.

    i got all of it but the 3rd to last step, about lwtp files.

    The tutorial seems simple enough, all you need to do is rename the file as .lwtp
    Just right click, as said before, click on rename, and change it. Aparenltly LimeWire uses the exact same format as a zip file... the .lwtp is probably to distinguish the Limewire skins apart from other zip files (which could contain anything).

    After step 10, just follow the tutorial's directions.

    hmmm....ill try it again but last time i tried that, it just added .lwtp to the end, but it stayed a .zip.

    thats because u need to remove the zip from the name. didn't u follow my instructions?

    it doesnt show the .zip part in the name so i cant get rid of it.

    If you right-click then go to properties you should get the fullname + extention then you could rename it there. If not, you'll have to configure the folder the file is in to show file extentions. Go to Tools>Folder Options and go to the View tab, i think it will be there.

    hmmm..... i got some of the folders to show the extension, but not the one i need it for. any more ideas?
