Rainy cloudy sky from below

First of all, this is totally random, so i dunno what it is all about. Secondly, its the first time iv'e ever tried to write a tutorial, so please forgive me if it is rubbish :huh:


here we go:

1: Open a new document, i used 500 x 125.

2: Fill it with black.

3: Go to Filter>Render>Lens flare, and try to place it as close to the middle as possible. Leave the settings as they are.

4: Filter>Distort>Zig Zag, and use these settins : Amount - 75 , Ridges - 8, Style - Pond ripples.

5: Desaturate the layer by pressing Ctrl + Shift + U, or by going to Image>Adjustments>Desaturate.

6: Then add a halftone pattern by going to Filter>Sketch>Halftone pattern, and then use these settings: Size - 1, contrast - 18, pattern type - dot.

7: Then go to Filter>Sharpen>Sharpen More

8: Then go to Filter>Artistic>Smudge Stick, and use these settings: stroke length - 10, Highlight Area - 0, Intensity - 10

9: Then finally, Filter>Brush Strokes>Sprayed Strokes, and use these settings: Stroke length - 0, brush radius - 7, Stroke direction - Right diagonal.

And there you have it! As easy as pie! Heres what i got :
