No Way. That would be totally inappropriate, and unconstitutional. Although I don't think that it should be taught in school, I think that saying the pledge of allegiance is all right.

I guess i'm sort of hypocritical.

    Christ, no!

Whatever happened to separation of Church and State?! Unless you are in Europe... which does not have that law. But still.

We already have enough parents brainwashing their children with those fairy tales. We don't need our education to be poluted with it as well.

I'm really trying hard not to explode on a scathing rant full of four letter words about how much I generally hate all religion. But I rather like being a moderator.

See, you're all saying no, yet you all still follow morales induced by modern religion. The entire concept of "good" and "evil", and your entire grasp of morality are all dependant on religion - and in the US at least, that religion is Christianity. You may not be reading fairy tales from within the "holy book", but you are being taught Christian ethics.

The golden rule eh? I see no need for it.

Morality isn't dependant on religion, more like religion is dependant on morality. Thats what most religions are based on.

I'm sure people weren't killing each other for fun before religion came along.

evolution is a form of science, therefore u learn it in science class....

religion should only be taught to those who want to learn it and not made compulsary. if you wanna learn about the bible, take religious classes.
