    Well i finally persuaded my dad to get a new pc, well he said laptop.

    Anyone got any ideas of some laptops under £550 that are quite good, at least 512mb RAM and a hgood processor?

    Ill need to run photoshop, MSN etc. easily at the same time and possible play games

    there's one at pc world right now for £549 i don't like it but i guess it's a start.. oh and one in costco ... it's amazing the stuff you can get in that store :lol:

    This pc cant handle word Lol well it can but this PC is terrible i need something that can atleast run more than one thing at once.

    And i want to game ^_^

    I have an acer travelmate 4100, its got centrino so thats msn thumb up and i can quite happily run a game on it. it has 512mb ram on it, 80 gb hard drive and it cost around £500.

    For £500 You could get a pretty nice gaming pc. Not top of the line.. but better then average

    I seen loads for around £500 with about 512 mb RAM and a 1.70 ghz CPU. Hard to choose really

    500 Euro is like 600 USD and roughly 700 CDN. :P

    I think AMD is best suited to gaming for laptops really. I got a Vaio which is always(?) Intel, but I only use it for schoolio.

    Falcon Northwest makes wicked sick gaming laptops, but friggin expensive.
