haha weed is worse for your lungs? XDHAHA only with tobacco maybe.. but not by itself.. the smoke produced by burning cannabis is less carcinogenic than tobacco, so smoking the substance pure isnt nearly as damaging compared to smoking with tobacco .. so don't think so.. and they weren't addicted to weed they were most likely addicted to the effect they got from it.. the nicotine in cigarettes is a chemically addictive substance, and also whatever other ingredients they have in cigarettes.. i don't know.. there' too many..

You are a tool, and a very important part of the human machine.

    edit:
salvia is one of the most spiritual and is THE most Hallucinogenic drug, it can tear your world apart and scare the shit out of you. Only, Only! experience salvia if you have an open mind, and realize that it has the power to change your life for ever.

Yea, nicotine is addicting but i've never had enough to be addicted. I prefer cigarillos, which don't have rat poison/nicotine. Which is more damaging is up in the air since i'm sure we've both heard claims and neither of us is a certafied health professional. However, I believe that weed is more addicting than tobacco. You narrowed the category of weed down to just the substance, not the "feeling", and yet you widened the category of tobacco to include nicotine, which I think is unfair debate. Out of Tobacco, and weed, both taken as pure substances, and inclusive of all feelings eminating from the consumption thereof, weed is more addictive.

Actually swabs. There are alot of people with that attitidue, but they are in the minority, most people do it for fun, to have a good time. I KNOW you can have a good time without drugs and alcohol etc, but yeah they are fun.

    http://www.weedguru.com/agamed.php

OK, so according to weedguru it is less carcinogenic than tobacco smoke. I give you that. I still don't see anything saying it is less addictive than tobacco.

And I agree with stu on the "cool" thing. Bashing party lifestyles has almost become a fad in and of itself, and the jackass uninformed partiers are getting countered with equal jackass uninformed anti-partiers. People now think that it's always a "cool" thing, and that's what the "cool" kids do. Everything's conformity isn't it? Well I'll tell you something, you can't put social status on a feeling buddy.

Of course marajuana is less carcinogenic, it's just the plant, no shit is added like tar, formaldehyde, cyanide w/e shit is in cigarettes.

As for addiction, nicotine is one of the strongest addictions to man (http://vaden.stanford.edu/topics_res...well/toba.html ), of which is not in cannabis, since its not even in the same plant family as tobacco. Thus cannabis is less addictive.

Cannabis is mentally addictive. Nicotine affects your body. So it is totally different.
As far as I've read, weed isn't addictive. It is though if you do it on a regular basis and make it part of your daily ritual. Than it becomes a habit.
