    Default Image Map Signature Help

Hope this is the right place to ask this, but im trying to make a simple banner for a forum signature with 4 clickable links to other sites. Ive used Photoshop to make the banner with the text, then imported it to Imageready and created 4 image maps with the correct urls.

For the life of me though i cant seem to get it from here to a working, clickable signature on the forum. Ive tried saving as a GIF (thinking it would save all the imagemaps) and hosted on imageshack, but when i put it as my sig it wasnt clickable anymore.

I know you can also save it as html but thats for web pages, and i just need it as a clickable sig with the 4 imagemaps intact.

I must be missing something really obvious here but im racking my brains and cant work it out - anyone know what i should be doing different?

What you've probably done is either cut it into several sliced images, or put an image map on top.

Either way, you *need* the HTML. You may be able to convert it into BBCode, but I'm not sure how the images would be positioned... If you're gonna do that, though, you'll need to make sure it's saving it as several different images.

    For example:
    Code:
    [img]server.host.com/image1[/img][ url = target.targetsite.com/targetpage ][img]server.host.com/image2[/img][ / url ][img]server.host.com/image3[/img]
    [ url = target.targetsite.com/targetpage ][img]server.host.com/image4[/img][ / url ][img]server.host.com/image5[/img]
    [img]server.host.com/image6[/img][ url = target.targetsite.com/targetpage ][img]server.host.com/image7[/img][ / url ]

The resulting sig would be something like:

    IMAGE1IMAGE2IMAGE3
    IMAGE4IMAGE5---------
    IMAGE6---------IMAGE7

    IMAGE2, IMAGE4, and IMAGE7 would be links.

Disks are always full. It is futile to try to get more disk space. Data expands to fill any void.
