    I tried working it like this fading for a light to a dark, what do you think? on the right track? now im trying to work the text.

    It looks good, but light isn't the same as white. Maybe some contrast or something? I don't know whats missing.

    much better than before.

    use unsharp mask on the stock and move the text closer to the stock. i don't like the white border.

    the stock = the person. stock image. the text is text. unsharp mask is filter > sharpen > unsharp mask. settings are

    amount = whatever looks best
    radius = 1.0 pixels
    threshold = 0 levels

    i think i liked it without the lens flare. it's too obvious.

    yeah thanks heaps, im trying to perfect some techniques, i've been on and off making sig's so im tryin to remember. lol

    I still think you could work on the text.
    It....stand out too much, and doesnt suit your sig.
    How about putting it as a dark grey with dark green first letters on the right? Or maybe a very dark green and then a lighter green as the main letter you are pointing out.

    You have changed a lot since your first sig. Chapeau to you.
    I still think the render needs a tad of blending into the background. Just a bit; gives it more effect.
