right so i tried this on a recent sig which will be posted here soon..
i tried using several color balance layers to achieve the multicolor effect, but to no avail, just changes the color of the entire sig, not parts of it orange, other parts green, etc. how can i get this effect?
-
Trying rendering clouds on your color balance layers.
-
as in after i do a color balance i render clouds IN that same layer or on top of it?
-
In the same layer as the color balance

ok, make sure you aren't brushing over the entire sig. so that there are open spots...i think that will work.
-
like select with a marquee, then apply color balance to that? or do the cloud thing?

no no no, thats the nooby way. make multiple color balance layers, and then click ON THE LAYER MASK (the white square on the layer pallete), and then render clouds.
