right so i tried this on a recent sig which will be posted here soon..
i tried using several color balance layers to achieve the multicolor effect, but to no avail, just changes the color of the entire sig, not parts of it orange, other parts green, etc. how can i get this effect?

ok, make sure you aren't brushing over the entire sig. so that there are open spots...i think that will work.

no no no, thats the nooby way. make multiple color balance layers, and then click ON THE LAYER MASK (the white square on the layer pallete), and then render clouds.
