Kinda looks like barret from final fantasy VII. there you go, what'ya think?

I didn't like it.
The white bar beneath the text, and the render almost invisible.

bg is ok (but i would try to sharpen some area of it). And remove that white rectangle under text. For the text i think it would look better without the bevel and add antialiasing on it.
