I like number 2 the best. I'm not a big fan of the text on any of them. The text on your 2nd current I do like however. The only reason for my dislike of the typography in your newer ones is that either the font/placement/color conflicts with the rest of each one.

Sorry to say, but I don't really like anything about the first one. The model being way too random is my main deterrent.

Number 3 is pretty nice, I like how you incorporated your name into the scene, but I think you should take out the rest of the type. My only beef with it, other than the extra text, is that it looks like it's supposed to be a semi-realistic scene but there are some things that need adjusting to make it more realistic (i.e. there are a few missing shadows).

Number 4 has a nice feel to it and I think it would look even better yet if you added another render to the brighter area on the right side, but make it really faded. It will add a lot of depth to it.

Number 5 is cool, but the boy just seems a little out of place (it's still pretty good though).

And finally, with number 6, the brushing just seems too separate from the character. The character is sharp, smooth, and has quite a bit of depth. The brushing on the other hand is blurry and seems too flat.

    Good to see you working

The man in the Photograph is Lieutenant Colonel Alastair Pearson. Despite the implication in this sig he did not win the Victoria Cross and nor did he die in service of his country. He was however, an incredibly brave man. You can read his story here:

The text is taken from Dulce Et Decorum Est, a war poem by Wilfred Owen from the First World War. The line is originally from Horace, the Roman lyrical poet but in Owen's version the line is used to vilify and not dignify war.

Dulce Et Decorum Est Pro Patria Mori is latin for it is sweet and fitting to die for your country.

You can read the poem here:
