The distance, or the so called field of proximity that is the "habitable zone" is the distance in which the planet has a temperature between 0 and 100 degrees celsius on the surface. That is the field of temperature in which water is liquid.

yeh my guess is tho as water is a fairly comon substance (as its a by product of alot of chemical reactions) that their would be liquid water if it has an atmosphere.
