I started working on my new portfolio design just yesterday
and thats what I have for now

Looks quite nice, I'd tone down the blue slightly,,
With the tabs on the side I'd make it look like the content box is giving it a shadow,
The reflection on the bottom is very pretty, however the splatter brush then ruins it

I like the blue header with the nice logo. I hope to see it when finished.

Maybe you used too much the blood drop brush.
