C4d stands for Cinema 4d which is a program used to create models of boats and pottery etc, but the gfx people decided to be creative and make c4ds, they are usually abstract pieces opf work with intricate detail, if you go to planetrenders.net they will have some examples, people usually put them in pack like Mr Robins c4ds and they vary in shpae colour size and design.
