First ever vector, wanted to do some crazy abstract background, but it didnt work out well....

smooth work for a 1st!
I still see some sharp edges(legs & sides from the arms) maybe to get it 100% fix that, and also, the line in his pants(zipper?) Isnt really convincing me to be real, because its almost straight and you can see lots of shadows there, not logical imo. and err.. his ears :P but maybe thats just anime-ears I dunno, Dont watch anime

Yeah the ear is realistically normal for anime. Work on the lines, the zipper and the pocket on the coat.

A vector is the "style". It's done mostly with the pend tool. You make outlines, fill in the outlines then shade and use shadows.

AND/OR A vector is an image made in Illustrator that can be enlarged or shrunk without loosing image quality.
