I guess I should show off a bit. This was made for a battle someplace else, the task was to make a piece based on our favorite song. I did mine on a song called "Helsinki Scorchin'", which is pretty much awesome. This piece was heavily inspired by James White and his amazing artwork, and of course I added my own touches in there too. All rates and constructive criticism greatly appreciated.

Really awesome job, the colours are amazing and the effects are perfect.
Only thing is the background, don't like that at all.
Nice work, just change the background to something nicer looking and more colourful.

Nice to see somebody who understands the use of kerning. I like this very much, and personally I think the background works well. I like the subtle textures on the coloured stripes too, it adds a lot more to the image.
