I have a few things that I didn't add in this, such as the logo/forum name will go on the top left, and the user info on the top right. Other than that it is done mostly to how I wanted.



I tried to make it classy, and simple, while taking out only the unnecessary elements.

Just a couple of things.

I like the minimalist look of it, but it's hard to tell how it will look in a more realistic dimension, and applied to full screen. I honestly think it's a little too minimalist. There are certain things missing that I feel like should be there. The lack of dividers between each of the forums is an issue that is debatable, but they serve a purpose. For a long list of forums, it helps forum titles visually stay connected with the most recent post data on the right side. Otherwise you find yourself running your finger back and forth making sure you're looking at the right one.

The color palette is another thing I'm not particularly fond of. You use a beige for the background color, a dark grey (which contrasts well), but then go into a golden brass sort of color, and that kind of takes away from it for me. Not to mention you go for a stark white for the text, and then take a nosedive with the white bg below with the user statistics. I'm just not feeling it here. The other thing is the pink text on the right for the moderators. I'm a stickler for consistency, and when there are a bunch of different colors for each item, it kind of gets to me.

The other thing I was iffy on was the typography. I like the all caps for the sections, but to make every piece of text all caps is a bit risky. Usability wise, uppercase text tends to be more difficult to read than text that follows a natural casing. Generally because that's how most text in the english language is used, that's how most people are accustomed to reading it. So all caps may be questionable.

The aliasing on the nav text since its such a small pt size makes it a little blurry for me, but I mentioned that to you before.

other than that I like the organization of things, and the simplicity of the design.

It's appealing but not really functional IMO.

Is there anyway you could make 2-3 versions with different colours? That same concept but with different colours or would that mean a lot of work would have to be done?
I quite like it but it's a LOT different then this current skin and it would take me a while to get used to it.

i like it. i would love to see this coded. i think u should maybe add more to it tho. like a few of your designs or an advertisement
