im not sure if it's the nose or the eyes or both still. i'm thinking it's the eyes, but the shadows on the nose are throwing me off.

alright so here's the proportion im talking about. it's a fault in your perspective rendering. if you draw a line on the photo from tear duct to tear duct the line slopes slightly down and to the right. however in your painting the same line would be straight across. so your facial proportion on one of the eyes is off. to me it looks like the left eye should be moved up just a bit, but i can't tell for sure. maybe moved in just a hair as well it looks like.

now that that's all cleared up..

just i do a lot of portrait sketches and a few paintings myself so when something's off it jumps out at me that something isn't right.

now that that's all cleared up...

That's fine mate, I wasn't trying to be a jerk or anything I just get caught up in arguments. If one of the eyes is off then that is in fact my fault and I apologize for jumping the gun and immediately arguing and denying your criticism, I realize you were attempting to help and for that I thank you.

It looks really nice but her pupils are positioned 1 degree too much to the right.
    Good work, almost looks real

Very nice work, and I can see what Ion is talking about with the eyes now (very good description of drawing the line eye to eye). The only thing I can comment on is that in looking at the original picture, it looks as if her chin area is a bit more rounded than what you did on your version (looks a little more pointed in yours).

    Awesome job though.
