    Default RYUK The Frightful ~Radillac~

Yah my first drawing in like 1 year

I started by drawing the lines with a graphite pencil and then I filled it in with Indian ink pencils.

I were trying for some shading by using different colors, but I think I should have colored it with regular pencils instead of Indian ink ^u^

I had to photograph it because my scanner is to small for a A3 paper.

Made some small changes to this one in photoshop, added a light source, glow on his eyes and a glimmer at the ear-ring.

    The original one:

    C&C are more than welcome!

I like this alot. Shows good use of colour. My only two bugbears is for the highlight on the earring, i'd have used chalk (If you did, i apologise its not very clear on here and looks kinda like you added it in Ps later) and have a look into 'rendering' (in regards to traditional media). Epic stuff, though!

Ah yes, I see it now. Epic! I'd still have gone with chalk highlights, though :P

Definitely look into rendering though. You'll find you can experiment more with depth/light/shade when you use rendering techniques! I look forward to seeing what you come up with next.
