Ichigo Kurosaki... First Manga Work

(I accidently had it in signature showcase :P)

This is the first Manga edit I ever done and its not meant to be a signature.

This edit took me about 2 hours of constant coloring so please don't mind the tiny white spots if you see them.

This is from one of the new chapters in Bleach and this manga picture is located on Chapter 416, Page. 17!

Please give me you're honest C&C and give me some tips if nessicary.

Think more detail could be added, also different levels of shading/highlighting. Looks good for a first thought mate, keep at it.

Yea I agree with you aswell... If you know any cool tricks to coloring in a manga to make it more detailed than please give me some tips.

well, I got a pro book about how to colour manga, but I think that'd take too long or is too hard ATM.

Try simpler stuff first and then go for epicness in bleach . :P

The colours need to be lighter (especially his face) and is the blue big thing (air?) supposed to be like that? Try giving the blue a pretty big white gradient. If you let it fade to top it will look nicer. Put it on a 80% opacity or so

And clouds.. Well, you can make custom or take em from anime.

I know that this is your first try and you arent going to shade and give all the rocks slightly different colours, but if you do so (correctly) it will look alot better.

As Gallag said, try different levels of shading and not grandiets everywhere. That is what they do in Anime's. http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/bl...sutorasado.jpg << Take a look at that and see how the shading is done, apply the same technique or take a picture of ichigo, I couldnt find one so fast.
