Left For No One (Close-Up, Black & White)

Soo I was inspired by other artists on deviantART who shot photos of jewelry in high contrast black and white.. I'm really happy with this shot, but I'd like to get "second opinions" from everyone..

quite nice for a macro, not really fond of these normally but nice use of the negative space. most would say thats too much but in my opinion its what makes this intresting!

Needs better lighting for strong highlights.

Any suggestions? Actually, I used my built-in flash for this.. Didn't really mess hardly at all with the levels neither. And it was pretty much as sharp as you see it now too
