    Default Politics Thread [Discussion]

Hello, I decided to create this thread because I personally like politics and I want to share my thoughts with other people. This thread is to explain your opinions and what you think will happen and who you think should be the next president. *This thread is not to Troll other users, and not to flame or make fun of other people, if this happens, this thread might be closed or the peoples comments and posts will be deleted*. This thread is to talk about POLITICS and POLITICS only! No going off topic unless it has something to do with POLITICS in some way, and if you have something bad to say about a person or president, and if you think you could get in trouble for it, please do not post your thought. If you are offending a person and the person reports this to a staff member, you will have consequences.

    Now back on topic -

Presidential Debate: Mitt Romney is the best choice U.S has to make it a better country instead of having Barack Obama wanting to turn this country into what he thinks a good country is. Obama has taxed the middle class so much and is cutting Military Expenses. From statistics he is following his dad's footsteps and he is slowly turning this country into his own. I have looked at the Nuclear statistics and the U.S is losing Nuclear Bombs, and Obama says he wants to stop the Nuclear war, but it shows that other countrys are losing or even gaining Warheads, and Iran has so many warheads we dont even know how much they have. What does that say?

I wanted Ron Paul to be in the office, because he was a constitutionalists, like JFK, and all he wanted to have was peace and no wars, no taxes, and to fix the debt. Talking about debt, Obama has raised the debt more then any other president in the U.S history of presidents, and he says he will fix it, but it is still going up. People say that they didnt want Ron Paul as the president because he wanted to legalize Marijuana, they see it in a bad way. They thought that legalizing marijuana would result in everyone being high, but actually, if it could get legalized it would be way better for Doctors and Hospitals because it does cure a lot of diseases, on statistics it shows that.

Mitt Romney is better then Obama, and he dosent want to tax the Middle class, and actually make the higher class pay more and get more taxes, because Obama hasent touched the rich people. Even though he said he would. Mitt Romney plans to make 20 million more jobs if he gets elected, Obama hasent even tried. Obama ended the war, thats the only good thing I see, but there are other wars, that are much worse, and he hasent even thought about it.

Hurricane Sandy - Super Storm Sandy, will be resetting the Economy and basically give the Presidents one last chance to battle. Currently they are battling over Wisconsin and Florida, but I havent checked in a while.

    Will write more later,

Well, I agree with your opinion that Obama should not be President, and Ron Paul would be a far better choice then our current. But I haven't heard of Marijuana actually 'curing' anything. It is used for like head aches, color blindness, cancer (is the biggest for appetite increase, and nausea reducer). I think a better standpoint for Marijuana should be that 'Hemp' can be distilled into a alcohol based fuel.

Or that Local, State, and Federal taxes could all be reduced. This is due that some State's still incarcerate people for less then an 8th of pot, and further, some States excerise a 3 strike rule, that states if you were busted with a Joint 3 times you are now a convicted felon. If that incarceration stops, Local and State taxes could be reduced dramatically. The Federal tax could (not would) reduce if the reduction of Marijuana shipments from crossing the borders. This could reduce how many officers or just let us spend it more constructive ways.

Also the use of hemp could dramatically reduce logging and deforestation. It would let America stand out as the first to truely try to save Natural Perserves, Forest's, and placing a huge step forward in the Green Era. And last of all, we all know our children are gonna try it at some point, middle/high school, college, ect. Wouldn't we rather have them go to a Licensed Practitioner, or Pharmacy to get it rather then a dealer pushing other drugs as well (my firm belief of why Marijuana is considered a gateway drug in the first place).

As far as knowing either of their plans truely is folley. Every President has promised everything, and delivered very little to almost none of it. Even Clintons Economic reign some people say is contributed by Regan. The fact is, all the 'Non-Partisan Studies' are really their own lobbyists, or other party's/people who support them. We won't know what either will truely do untill they get there. But I can tell you for sure, with either decision, America is gonna take another hit.

Neither candidate has a realistic approach to solving any sort of problem. Both Romney and Barack have plans on proposing a 50/50 plan that will take affect in the next 6-10 years because of what they both believe in. One believes the rich doesn't deserve what they have, the other believes the poor should get rich and that's not really how that works. Marijuana and the deficit aren't this nations only problems and being extremely vague about what goes into voting for a candidate is what keeps getting us shitty presidents. The only thing that will be discussed in this topic will be problems that through polls and surveys people want to hear presidents discuss...but guess what? 90% of this country is as uneducated as a 3rd world child and this is a fact.

What is being talked about in the debates is what people want to hear, it's not media control or really important. What needs to be DONE and not TALKED about is what the general public has no voice or power in, things that require a table or room filled with world leaders solving issues and putting plans into motion. Anyone can say that they are going to make the world out of sunshine and tits, everyone loves how that sounds. Not everyone is willing to cut the tits out of a screaming girl and place the tits on every visible surface possible though.

The point is that you need to get dirty before you can reach glory, it's how Kennedy did it, it's how Lincoln did it and it's how Gov. Gary Johnson would do it.

    "Who is Gary Johnson?" Libertarian.

From an outsider here in the UK currently living under the rule of the biggest twat to ever hit the face of the earth, I can't help but think that Romney looks like an exact copy. I don't understand why people believe the bullshit that comes out of these little posh boys mouths. I also wish we had a similar system where by a new leader is elected every two years as opposed to 5 because this David Cameron faggot, and his two bum buddies are taxing just about everything they can.

I wasn't being vague, and you give less credit to something that could potentially be a step forward to alternitive energys, jobs, lower taxes, and iconic step into future.
