A lot of members here don't have the confidence...nearly every battle is a n00b battle and it's starting to bug the hell out of a lot of us...have some confidence people?* yes we'e not all desititans or psypers but they didn't call themselves n00bs for the first 75% of their time spent as gfx artists.

So who would be the one to judge if it's a joke sig are not? And how, ones with stick figures or ones that aren't any brushing?

If it's depending how much work is put into it like I've heard some people say that not enough work was put into that, then the ones you call noobs could win a lot more than the people who know what they are doing half the time.

I always thought not matter what they had done to a sig or picture in general that when voting you look for what's the best one for an all around look. Where could it fit and not fit. does it stand out or look like nothing. Clutter and all that, I don't try and judge did they blend anything or how much time they put into it for even if you take a year it half the time doesn't even look as good as someone who can make something in a day who knows what they are doing.

In graphics I think you should look for talent not how long they spent on it, cause that doesn't mean it's better.

I understand what you mean nightfire, but some artists are openly coming out and stating that their entry is just a joke if they got/get no votes, and when they first post it they call it a joke too. And as you can see, the new sotw has the "no joke entries allowed"

yeah the joke entrys are anoying but there is a difference between a joke entry and a funny entry.......ie DTM'd could be taken either way
