This is my first modelling attemp in cinema 4D, i wanted to start with something simple and build on it so i decided to create a futuristic fighter jet. anyway, ive worked on it for about 3 hours now, im going to add the jet engines and rockets later today but here is what ive came up with:

any suggestions for improvement will be greatly appreciated

looks pretty heavy top fly with...
I like it! Pretty much too smooth for me, i like stealth fighters.
One thing i don't understand is, it reflects itself on the wings...How?
It's an overall good model but pretty much too smooth.
Noooooo! My old signature is gone! Gone forever!!!
    *sniff*
    New one!

the gatlings can't fire ^^ cause theier tubes are stuck in the wings. extrude the polygon on the basement of the gatlings and that should be fine. polygon on the cockpit isn't right textured. lower the iterations of the hypernurbs it's definetly to high ^^

ive never done antything 3D except for mapping, so this is just from a point of view from some one who has no idea how hard that is.

    they look like sharks.

apart from that, i saw a huge rocket jet on the back would look awsome.

you read my mind lol, yea that was what i was planning to do next.. i didn't realise how time consuming modelling is. I'm used to abstract renders :P

Modeling takes forever. Try using maya. Also it is way to smooth for that kind of design. Wings don't look like that unless you need extreme speed. The planes really don't even look all that fast. The guns on the wings should be just a tad bigger and you should put a mount on it. BTW gatlink guns do spin and having one bullet fire out of each at the same time is pretty much pointless to the extreme. But overall it is good for a first time model. Do better next time though.

Well, it IS his OWN creation, Im sure you wouldnt like other people telling you how to do your own thing.

Annyway, Im really digging this. I only use Cinema4D for abstract stuff, havent really attempted anything model wise with it, I've found Maya to be a ton more user friendly IMO. I really like the material you used, any chance you could post the settings for material you used for the body?

Awesome work man, keep with it.
