2Tuts in one day, w00t!!!!

This is a fairly short and easy tut made because its been requested a few times. It will teach you how to make a realistic looking glasstype orb >.<

1> Create a new document, or do it in the sig you want it in, it doesn't really matter.

2> Grab the Circular Marquee tool, if its the square one just right click it :P

3> Make sure you keep hold of SHIFT so its a perfect circle, make it 3pixels smaller than you want the orb, you will se why later.

4> Fill the selection in with a colour of your choice on a new layer

5> Apply the following blending options:

Inner Shadow
Leave everything default but:
--distance : 2pixels

Inner Glow
Leave everything default but
--Mode : Normal
--Colour : Black
--Size : 50 px THIS WILL VARY DEPENDING ON THE SIZE OF YOUR ORB!!!!!
--Range : 100

Bevel + Emboss
Leave everything default but:
--Depth : 1
--Size : 1
--Soften : 16

Satin
Leave every default but:
--Distance : 7
And choose the INVERT box

Gradient
Leave everything default but
--Opacity : 35%
You can tick reverse to get a different effect

Stroke
Leave everything default but:
--Opacity : 28
--Fill : Gradient
--And tick 'REVERSE'

I got this:

6> Grab the circular marquee tool and make a selection like so:

7> Grab the gradient tool and click the gradient bar at the top, make it so half is white and the other half has 0% opacity and drag it from the top of the selection the 3/4 of the bottom.

Move it down 2 or 3 pixels and you should get something like so:
