As known, dreams usually aren't realistic. One thing that to me seems dreamy is saturation. Here, I am going to show in three easy steps how to make an image look dreamy with saturation in it, as well. This also gives a little bit of a difference compared to many dream photos that I have been seeing, lately.
Here is the image that I am going to start with:
Step 1: After having opened your picture, press ctrl+J to duplicate your layer.
Step 2: On the new layer, press ctrl+U. Increase the saturation bar until the colors are intense, but not too intense. (Make sure "colorize" is NOT checked.) I moved mine to 50.
Step 3: Duplicate the saturated layer. On the new layer go to filter>blur>gaussian blur and change the radius to about 3 px. Change the blend mode of that layer from "normal" to "lighten."
