    Default Quick Grunge

Did this as a concept for the GFXVoid school. I wanted to experiment with a grunge layout; normally I do alot of minimalistic, clean cut, tightly wound designs with as much organization as possible. I like this style because even though the elements are dirty and unkempt, there is still a level of organization that keeps everything nice and neat.

XHTML Strict 1.0 (with validated css 2.1, but who can't do that? :P)

Took about 2 hours to design (again, it's 'quick' grunge), and another 2 hours to code. You'll notice the twitter API on the right, it's easy to implement, and it adds a dynamic edge to the content.

Although I haven't really fitted this theme with any sort of purpose, it is going to be one of several layouts we create in the Webdesign class. Theoretically, one who takes the course *should* be able to reproduce this layout with some nominal variance based on preference.

Hope you like the work overall, there will be more to come.
