//Is graffiti art?//

There shouldnt even be a discussion, of course graffiti is art. Graffiti is made by using paint right? It has to do with multiple colors and have some meaning to it. Well atleast to me it does.

its art, you should look up "art" in the dictionary or something... though if i was an uptight business man n someone graffitied my wall, i wouldnt be happy. so asking permission would best suit everyone....

theres a difference between tagging and graffiti, tagging is someone just running around with a sharpie writing on stop signs and random walls/tables/doors anywhere. Graffiti is mostly done for art, if you look graffiti up it is actually brought back to the ancient romans, if i am correct.

graffiti is art, i mean, what else can make you turn and look when it is HUGE out on some train (damn i feel really texan now :P) or a building, although i hate that it does deface some (most) of the time, i still wish i could do something like that, it amazes me.

I just google searched graffiti and found out that quite a few people tend to believe that graffiti is vandalizing =[

I guess that we GFX people think graff. is art, yeah? So far everyone voted yes! ^^;
