Over time there have been many stages of womans rights. We have progressed from a feudal society, to the minor advances of the reneissance and enlightenment, and with every passing generation, women have aldtered and adapted their roles. Major strides were of course mad in the late 1800's early 1900's as women finally gained voting rights in most of the western world. Last but not least, we have Betty Friedan and the bra burners of the 60's, who forever ensured that feminism would be branded on the minds of americans for centuries to come.
My question is this:
What do you think of where the issue of womans rights sits today? Have we "balanced the scales"? Are we going to far in our quest to equlize the sexes?
